Refund Policy

ALL SALES ARE FINAL. WE DO NOT OFFER REFUNDS.

1. Why We Do Not Offer Refunds

The GC Vault is a digital product delivered instantly upon purchase. The moment your payment is confirmed, you receive full access to download all files. Because the product is immediately and permanently accessible to you, it cannot be “returned” the way a physical product can.

By its very nature, a digital download cannot be un-delivered. Once the files are in your possession, BuildSmart Academy has no way to verify that copies have been deleted or that the content has not been reviewed. For this reason, all sales are final.

2. Please Purchase Carefully

We want every customer to be confident before they buy. Before completing your purchase, we encourage you to:

  • Read the full product description on the sales page carefully
  • Review exactly what is included in The GC Vault (contracts, permit guide, estimating framework, job cost tracker, client scripts, and the 20 mistakes guide)
  • Consider whether the materials apply to your business situation
  • Reach out to us with any questions before purchasing — we are happy to help you decide

Contact us at support@buildsmart.academy before purchasing if you have any doubts. We would rather answer your questions upfront than have a dissatisfied customer.

3. What Is Not Covered

The following are not grounds for a refund:

  • Changing your mind after purchase
  • Not having compatible software to open the files (PDF and Google Docs/Sheets formats are specified on the sales page)
  • Not using the materials after downloading them
  • Deciding the product does not apply to your specific state or trade (product scope is clearly described on the sales page)
  • Technical issues on your end (device, internet connection, email provider)

4. Exceptions

Refunds will only be considered in the following limited circumstances:

  • You were charged more than once for the same order (duplicate charge) — we will refund the duplicate immediately
  • You never received your download link and our support team was unable to resolve the issue within 72 hours of your purchase

To report either of these issues, email support@buildsmart.academy with your order confirmation number.

5. Chargebacks

Filing a chargeback with your bank or credit card issuer without first contacting us is considered a violation of these terms. In the event of a chargeback:

  • Your download access will be immediately revoked
  • Your account will be flagged and barred from future purchases
  • We reserve the right to dispute the chargeback with full documentation of delivery
